Description

2 Dachshund boys for rehome. Walter and Wilbur. They love snuggles and are very affectionate. They have separation anxiety so they don't like it when we leave the home. We would like them to go to a home with land/farm and they must go together as they are brothers. They don't play well with other dogs they don't know, but they currently live with 2 elderly beagles without a problem . We are based in North Wales and would drop them off to see the property/ land. They are both castrated. They play well with our toddler who is 18 month Able to ignore/not react to other dogs on walks? Sometimes they bark. They live with 2 elderly beagles.  Cat friendly? Unsure, they will chase them out the garden Good with young children? Yes.  Any health issues, current or past, for example ear infections, heavy plaque on teeth? Wilbur the small one is short sighted Any behavioural issues? Slight separation anxiety so they don't like it when we leave the home. They bark/whine. Walk well on lead? Yes mostly. Can get distracted. Can be let off lead (good recall)? Not great recall without a treat  How long can they be left alone before suffering separation anxiety and how to they display their anxiety? They bark  House trained?  They are house trained. Sleep in cage at night.  Microchipped in your name? Yes on request Travel well? Yes they travel in a cage in my van. They bark when they need the loo which is good. How long have you owned your dogs? 3 years.

FurDopt Safety Advice: You MUST read our buyer's checklist before contacting the advertiser.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com – Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person – Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Don’t share your ID or personal details – Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams – Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research – Verify the seller, their background, and the pet’s history.
Ask lots of questions – A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place – Always visit the seller’s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs – Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details – Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings – Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts – If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
