  • Why are you looking to rehome this pet?
  • Very sadly we have had to say goodbye to one of our rabbits. Having had pet rabbits for many years, we have previously always found a new companion if one passed away. Our circumstances have now changed and we cannot give rabbits the attention they deserve; our children are older and we are both now working full time. We know our remaining rabbit, Luna, needs a companion so have made the difficult decision to rehome her, as we believe this is in her best interest. She is neutered, vaccinated, age 5, small, black with cute white patches, originally a rescue (breed unknown) and registered with our local vet. Luna is an outdoor rabbit but would probably be happy indoors too. We have a shed, run and tunnels that can also be taken if needed. Luna is sweet and timid, and we’d love to find her a good home to go to.

FurDopt Safety Advice: You MUST read our buyer's checklist before contacting the advertiser.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com – Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person – Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Don’t share your ID or personal details – Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams – Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research – Verify the seller, their background, and the pet’s history.
Ask lots of questions – A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place – Always visit the seller’s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs – Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details – Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings – Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts – If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
