Description

Jessie is a tabby cat who can be quite shy at first, but once she comes out of her shell she becomes a very friendly and loving companion. She is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and settled. Jessie doesn’t tend to roam far when she goes outside. Once she finds a quiet spot she enjoys, she usually stays close by and is happy to relax there. She would benefit from an owner who can spend quality time with her, helping her build confidence and allowing her gentle personality to truly shine. A couple of years ago, Jessie developed a haematoma to her ear which was drained twice but later returned. A vet has checked it and confirmed that as it isn’t causing her any pain, it is best to leave it alone for now. Treatment can still be continued in the future if needed.

FurDopt Safety Advice: You MUST read our buyer's checklist before contacting the advertiser.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com – Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person – Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Don’t share your ID or personal details – Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams – Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research – Verify the seller, their background, and the pet’s history.
Ask lots of questions – A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place – Always visit the seller’s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs – Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details – Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings – Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts – If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
