Description

I am looking to rehome our 3 year old Dalmatian, Dorothy. She is a much loved pet, but we are no longer able to meet her needs due to a change in personal circumstances. She is very friendly and affectionate. Likes to play with other dogs, but isn’t very well socialised. Not sure about cats. Hasn’t spent much time around children, but older children / teens would be fine. Eats a mix of dry and wet food and loves fruit and veg for treats. She is very playful and is also happy to play with toys alone. She isn’t brilliant on the lead but with the right training would be ok. She is fine in the car but can be very excitable. Price negotiable to ensure the right home. Seriously enquiries only please.

FurDopt Safety Advice: You MUST read our buyer's checklist before contacting the advertiser.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com – Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person – Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Don’t share your ID or personal details – Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams – Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research – Verify the seller, their background, and the pet’s history.
Ask lots of questions – A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place – Always visit the seller’s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs – Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details – Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings – Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts – If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
