  • I was a licensed breeder however at 36 i was diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis of the spine and disc degerative disease and so i have now had to give us my passion for poms, and be thanful for the 5 i have of my own to love, I bred Bridgets mum in 2023 n and Bridget born April 2023 was one of her 4 lovely pups, she was sold at 10 weeks old the same as her siblings, and often came back for boarding holidays as i offer this to all my adopters, she was sold under a pet Only contract as she is a larger throwback pomeranian and not the typical "breed standard" and so she was sold with NO breeding rights, I was contacted in nov 2024 to tell me their 14year male pomeranian had got to her when she was in season "accidentally" The lady told me she found them mated, but she didnt do anything to stop the pregnancy progressing, and she rang me in tears nearly 8 weeks AFTER she fell pregnant! She called to tell me she was being made homeless with her 4 dogs and that Bridget was around 11days away from delivering an unexpected litter of pups (this was the first I had heard of her being pregnant) but at that stage there is nothing I can do but support her and let Bridget continue and have the pups, however with a 72hr eviction underway (turns out she had known for months and bred her on purpose to try and get the money for the rent she owed!!) I immediately told her to relinquish the dog back to me as she had broken the pet only contract and now was 11 days away from having puppies born on the streets!! So on Nov 27th 2024 Bridget came back into my care, and then on December 7th after a rough labour and 4/6 breech deliveries, we managed to safely deliver her 6 beautiful puppies, who were all cared for by me and Bridget (she was a great mum bless her despite the circumstances) and her and her babies got everything they needed until they went to their forever homes in February, full vetted, fully vaxed, fully perfect thank god under the circumstances πŸ™ We had been waiting for her next season as she should be spayed 3 months after a season, her season came early sep so we are approaching the right timing for getting her spayed, I wont let her go unspayed, and then once she was fully recovered from the surgery And signed off by my vet then she will be ready for her forever home, hopefully that all makes sense, She has vets on Friday for booster vaccines and health check so will be scheduling the spay then for asap After her pups left and we started to settle back into normal life Bridget started to attack her mum and smaller sister over jelousy and dominance (she had always bossed them about when she used to visit but this was definitely differnt) and appears to be a jealousy thing mostly, she cant bare of my other dogs to be anywhere near ME or she will stalk over them and growl and if we dont step in she will try to fight them. It's become unmanageable, thankfully they all have pom mains so their fluffy necks are protecting them from injury, but its only a matter of time and so she needs to be an only dog household, With children over 10 mainly due to her jumping skills I worry she can knock younger children over, not because I think she would intentionally hurt them, she lived with a 4 year old ASD child in her previous home and she adored him, she did actually also live with a very placed spaniel too in her last home and a pom, so maybe in the right environment she could live with a very placid older male dog who is bigger than her so she doesnt feel she can threaten them, but this will be assessed on a case by case basis She needs someone patient who is willing to let her open up in her own time and pace and understand the 3,3,3 theory. Someone who can see past her flaws and see the perfect beauty with the most stunning Amber eyes and unique liver coloured points (eye rims, lips nose and paw pads,) she truly is a stunningly beautiful dog who in the right setting, I dont doubt she will absaloutly thrive, I have full genetics showing shes clear of over 260 diseases/conditions that were tested for by wisdom panel, I done this to show her puppies owners her genetics, given the circumstances with her getting pregnant against contract. Happy to share vet notes after her appointment friday, Adopting fee is purely to go towards her spay appointment and to ensure she is not taken for the wrong reasons and is truly wanted. Adoption contract in place with 100% return to me back up at any age, for ANY reason, Home checks required and vet reference also, And proof of permission from landlord to take in a dog too. Slow meet ups first until shes recovered from the spay op. And so she and you can build a natural bond first to aid her transitioning Into your home and heart. Contract does include lifetime insurance policy compulsory clause, which I will require proof of, but ill keep her current policy running for 1 month so there is no break in her being covered, I currently pay around Β£33pm fpr Β£10,000 per year policy limit with Agria, but can recommend other more affordable companies also Any questions drop me a message As I just have to get this right this time fir our girl, she deserves the world ❀️ πŸ• πŸ›· Shes not your typical tiny pomeranian, she is a throwback to the older lineage of the breed, they were bred down by queen victoria to be smaller and smaller and every now and then some of the older genetics is thrown into a pup in a litter randomly (her sister is 3kg and bridget is 5.5 (but currently over weight, she lost alot of weight and her coat afrer the pups were born its very common, so we started to Increase her feed and as her coat grew back we didnt notice she had gained as much weight as she did, currently working to get her back to her 5kg ideal weight)

Description

Beautiful beaver coloured pomeranian nearly 3yr old, Takes a little time to get to know people and can be quite barky at first hense the slow introductions, but when shes getting the attention attention and treats shes soon won over, she needs recall training as she will run if she gets the chance, if she gets out dont chase her, run the other way and call her name and she will run to you chasing you, She doesnt like being touched when asleep and has air snapped in the past, but never attempted to bite or make contact, and hasnt done this since settling in again, but she is crate trained and can be crated for naps to prevent this, and can be left home alone fine a few hrs, but she would prefer someone home more than not I am taking my time with rehoming her as it really has to be the right placement fpr Bridge, Home check required Contract for return to me only (at any stage) Currently fed a balanced complete Raw species appropriate diet, but this can be changed to your preffered food in time, but if wanting to stick with raw it costs around Β£6 per week to feed her, all comes in tubs frozen
