  • Zeppy – 6 Month Old Female Mixed Breed πŸ“ Glasgow Zeppy is currently in foster care and patiently waiting for her perfect forever home. This lovely young girl is full of personality and has so much potential. Zeppy absolutely adores her people and, with a sensible slow introduction, gets on well with both dogs and new people. She is incredibly intelligent, loves learning, and is already making fantastic progress with her training. At just 6 months old, Zeppy is learning all the important life skills. Her recall is coming along nicely, she's picking up her basic training well, and she's even discovering how much fun toys can be. She is also becoming more comfortable being left alone and currently settles happily for around 4 hours, though this could continue to be built upon as she matures. Zeppy is doing exceptionally well with her toilet training for such a young dog and has proven herself to be a quick learner who enjoys having a job to do. What type of home is Zeppy looking for? Zeppy would ideally like a home with a calm, well-behaved resident dog to help show her the ropes and build her confidence. While she has made amazing progress, she can still become worried by unfamiliar people and unexpected noises, so she needs an understanding owner who is committed to continuing her training and helping her navigate the world with confidence. Zeppy is a high-energy young dog who thrives when both her mind and body are exercised. She currently enjoys 1–2 hours of off-lead exercise each day, alongside ongoing training and enrichment. Due to her age and energy levels, Zeppy would love an active home that enjoys walking, training, and getting out on adventures together. Although Zeppy is very interested in children and appears to enjoy watching them from a distance, we feel she would be best suited to an adult-only home where she can continue to develop at her own pace. With appropriate introductions, she could still spend time around children. Zeppy is currently living successfully with a cat and has shown no issues. She is a healthy young dog with no known medical concerns. For the right home, Zeppy is going to make an incredibly rewarding companion. She is a bright, affectionate little dog who just needs someone willing to continue the great work that's already been started. In return, you'll gain a fun, clever, and loyal companion with a huge personality. If you think you could offer Zeppy the home she's looking for, or if you have any questions, please get in touch.

FurDopt Safety Advice: You MUST read our buyer's checklist before contacting the advertiser.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com – Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person – Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Don’t share your ID or personal details – Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams – Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research – Verify the seller, their background, and the pet’s history.
Ask lots of questions – A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place – Always visit the seller’s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs – Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details – Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings – Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts – If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
