Description

๐Ÿพ **URGENT โ€“ Loving Home Needed for a Sweet Boy Cat (Middlesbrough)** ๐Ÿพ This is one of the hardest posts Iโ€™ve had to write ๐Ÿ’” Please read/share. Iโ€™m looking for a loving, permanent home for my beautiful 5-year-old boy. He is: โœ”๏ธ Neutered โœ”๏ธ Microchipped โœ”๏ธ Vaccines up to date โœ”๏ธ No health issues or special dietary needs (currently on Iams Hairball food) He is an incredibly gentle, mellow cat who absolutely adores people. Heโ€™s great with adults and children and loves a calm environment where he can relax and be close to his humans ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’› The only reason for rehoming is that he needs to be the only cat, as heโ€™s not getting along with our other cat. This is about giving him the peaceful, happy life he deserves. ๐Ÿก **Ideal home:** โ€ข Only pet household โ€ข Someone who wants a calm, affectionate companion โ€ข Indoor home or safe outdoor access This is not a decision taken lightly. We want him to go to a loving home.

Buyer's checklist to avoid scams!

Keep all communication on Furdopt.com โ€“ Avoid moving to external platforms where scams are common.
Never send a deposit unless you have viewed the pet in person โ€“ Scammers often ask for upfront payments and disappear.
Donโ€™t share your ID or personal details โ€“ Protect yourself from identity theft and fraud.
Beware of phishing scams โ€“ Avoid clicking on suspicious links or emails asking for login details.
Be responsible, do your own research โ€“ Verify the seller, their background, and the petโ€™s history.
Ask lots of questions โ€“ A genuine seller will provide health records, vaccination details, and pet history.
Meet in a safe place โ€“ Always visit the sellerโ€™s premises to see the pet in a secure environment.
Check for warning signs โ€“ Unusually low prices, urgency, or reluctance to meet in person are red flags.
Request vet records and microchip details โ€“ Ensure the pet is healthy and legally registered.
Avoid sellers who refuse video calls or in-person meetings โ€“ Scammers often hide behind fake listings.
Trust your instincts โ€“ If something feels off, walk away and report suspicious listings.
